The Wills world cup also called the sixth world cup, was the sixth tournament in the ICC world cup series. The tournament was co-hosted by India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka with 12 teams competing to become world champions. Sri Lanka emerged as the champions, winning their first world cup under the captainship of Arjuna Ranatunga.
