History of the Cricket World Cup
The world cup is the biggest event in the game of cricket, held every 4 years. The first world cup know as The Prudential World Cup was hosted in England in the year 1975. West Indies won the first world cup and also in the subsequent year.
The first three world cups were held in England and were 60 over matches. The dress code and ball for the world cups were white and red respectively.
